Cellulite Creams: Do Cellulite Creams Work?

The research about cellulite creams is simply astounding. Both historically, from the time cellulite was discovered and as a nuisance that women need not endure, let alone should be in possession of, at least publicly.

Cellulite, body fat, fatty deposits, pick your terminology of choice, is not new by any means. It has been around long before anybody reading these words, or literally millenniums, before that. And yet, when the term cellulite, and the general public be came consciously aware of how they looked, and appeared to others, on the outside, low and behold, soon after followed the introduction of cellulite creams and bigger than life promises with each.

What's absolutely maddening when finding up to date, realistic information, research, and the latest studies about cellulite creams is how abundant the junk science is, and how few the scientific facts are.

Now don't get me wrong; for nearly every cellulite cream on the market, somewhere there is supposed scientific evidence supporting most claims, whether it be a theory, a smidgen of truth stretched into a scientific breakthrough, an artist rendered illustration visually substantiating every point being reported, or the most

frequent in the market of cellulite creams, emotional exuberance coupled with the suggested urgency to get in on a good thing before anyone else discovers it and all supplies are gone.

Cellulite creams are seriously easy to sell. They are promoted with such tactics that are so proven to work, that there never, ever be a shortage of cellulite creams, topical solutions, or apply to the skin remedies to choose from. Notice I did not say, that cellulite creams have been certifiably, without a doubt, alert all the neighbors, to work. Most women do not need or care too much about scientific details, as long as they believe what they are reading makes sense, or they trust the endorsement, of the source sharing the information.

Celebrity status (handsomely paid, mind you), and a higher perceived value price tag such as $189.50 a tube can sway your belief if anti cellulite cream "A" is better than say, someone selling the exact same product from the back of a truck at a flea market at a deep discount.

But, Do Cellulite Creams Work?

The fact of the matter is, consumers who are in pain, or are seeking a solution for an important problem to them, the end user, can easily be convinced to believe anything. Even the most skeptic, rocket science smart braniac's best defenses are utterly useless, if a compelling argument convinces them to let their guard down, and considered the possibility that what is being said makes sense. Sold! Read that sentence again, for how subtle one can be suckered.

Now, the question, do cellulite creams work? And the answer is yes, and no. I know that's not the answer you've been craving. Let me explain.

There are cellulite creams that are more legitimate than others, most definitely. Creams squirted from a tube, or applied by hand, continue to be flooded into the marketplace with such vigor, that you might very well be convinced, that something, somewhere has gotta work. And technically, you'd be right.

On that note, do cellulite creams work? Yes. Are there cellulite creams that have absolutely no chance whatsoever of abolishing, minimizing, eliminating, or even improving the look of cellulite, on the surface or deep within? That's an easy one, Yes.

Let's discuss cellulite creams that DO work, for a moment. Here's the thing, one can make a simple question, such as, "do cellulite creams work?" into a cut and dry, black and white, yes or no answer. And in that case, sometimes, many times the answer is a definite yes. That is not the issue. Nor is it the question you should be asking if you are truly serious about real results. The kind of results that real people who live in the real world usually seek: obvious ones. Not wishy-washy, well.. "it works, if.." there's a full moon out, it's Wednesday, the light is just right, you squint your eye, standing on one foot, leaning to the right, and believing that it COULD work, kind of results.

Results that are dependent on numerous factors, and cannot be seen with the typical human eye, would produce an answer of "yes", when asked, "Do cellulite creams work?" But, you could also be asked, several similar questions, each resulting in a positive, "yes", response, but still know that there's much more to the answer. And cellulite creams, that "work" for the most part, are in this category.

You could be asked for example, "Is a sunset orange?" Well..yes, but.. Such similar thinking is the common thread of most cellulite creams of current and past. The better question to ask: "Do cellulite creams work - effectively?" Even those cellulite creams that could fairly have answered "yes" before, are not so quick to respond. Part 2 of Cellulite Creams: Do Cellulite Creams Work, will be published shortly - there's still much ground to cover.
